WHAT:
Join us on Tuesday mornings in our magical, peaceful Yurt, to sing your favourite show tunes, get your babies dancing through gentle choreography, and playful musical moments — followed by time to relax and connect with other parents in Fallow & Fields cafe afterwards.

You don’t need any singing or dancing experience — just come as you are and enjoy belting out musical theatre songs with your baby by your side.

I started Broadway Babies after I became a mother in 2025, as a way to connect with other local parents.

Parents love Broadway Babies because it’s for them as much as their little one, with a calmer, more structured atmosphere than many other music and sensory classes.

Block 5 (4 weeks): 12 May, 19 May, 2 June, 9 June

FOR GROWN UPS
Singing and moving to music has powerful effects on adult wellbeing. Research shows that group singing can help reduce stress, regulate the nervous system, and lift mood, while also creating a sense of belonging and social connection — something many new parents deeply need.
Singing musical theatre songs gives parents permission to breathe deeply, use their voice fully, and express emotion, which can be both energising and grounding.

Spending time with others in a consistent weekly group also supports mental health, helping reduce isolation and build supportive friendships during a vulnerable stage of life.

FOR BABIES
Babies are naturally drawn to music, rhythm and the human voice. Being surrounded by singing, gentle movement and simple percussion helps support:
-
Early communication and language development
-
Emotional regulation and bonding with their caregiver
-
Sensory and motor development through movement and rhythm
-
Social awareness by seeing others sing, move and respond to each other

Seeing their parent enjoying themselves — singing, smiling, moving — also helps babies feel safe, engaged and emotionally secure.
