About the Show...
“Remember Paris. Remember the Before. Remember Me.”
A love story told through memory, music, and moments that refuse to stay still.
Remember The Before is an intimate two-hander about holding on when everything begins to slip away. Funny, raw, and quietly devastating, the play follows a couple caught between the joy of who they were and the fear of what comes after.
Set across fragments of shared memories, late-night jokes, fights, songs, and Parisian dreams, this is a story about love, loss, and the desperate need to be remembered.
Following acclaimed performances at the Camden Fringe and Sleaford Playhouse, Remember The Before comes to Theatre on the Farm for a powerful, close-up theatrical experience.

“The genius in the writing is the unexpected twists and turns.”
— North West End
“Both are alert, available performers, deft in modulation. They are variously tough, tender, light, dark.”
— Lost in Theatreland

An intimate, electric, and emotionally charged performance, Remember The Before invites audiences to sit close, lean in, and confront what we choose to remember, and what it costs to forget.
FAQs
FOOD AND DRINK?
TOILETS?
AGE SUITABILITY?
PARKING?
There will be drinks and snacks available to purchase before the show, during the interval and after the show from our Theatre on the Farm Bar.

Toilet facilities are available inside the barn.
We don't recommend this production for children and babies as some content is unsuitable. But we have lots more shows coming up that are specifically designed with children in mind.
There is parking available on the farm. The farm is also reachable on foot or by bike from Thame, just be mindful when crossing the busy roundabout.
On Sat Nav's and google the farm is spelt - LOPEMEAD but the correct spelling (which you will see around the farm) is actually LOPEMEDE. The entrance to the farm from Thame roundabout to Long Crendon is a little hidden. We would advise anticipating turning into the farm on the left after you pass the golf club on your right (0.4 miles). Please note Lopemede is a working farm with residents and has a strict 10mph speed limit. Make your way down the lane and you will be directed to the carpark. The barn is located back down the slope you drove up, in the courtyard. There will be marshals to assist you.
HOW TO FIND US?
As we are on a farm, it's a little muddy and rather dark. Although you will only be walking on concrete to reach the barn, we recommend suitable shoes, in case it's wet. We also suggest bringing a torch with you to navigate the short distance from your car to the barn- the torch on your mobile phone should do the trick. The barn is nice and warm, so no need for lots of layers.
WHAT TO BRING?
Seating is unassigned and is first come, first served. We will be starting the show promptly and the doors for audience to arrive to the barn are in fact in the centre of the playing stage space. We ask that you do your best to arrive with plenty of time before the show starts, as we will need to wait until everyone has arrived before we can start, so that we don't have anyone unexpectedly performing in the show.
